I'm so in love with this little shirt, urgh. it's one of the cutest things I've ever owned. I bought it in a vintage store at the weekend, I was actually just looking for something to throw on under my cardigan to try and keep my arms warm, it was only like £8 or something and I'm so glad I found it because heart eye emojis. I bought this skirt like two months ago and I never actually thought I'd wear it but now that I've had it on, I can see me planning some cute little outfits around it.
I've legit had these socks for 4 years, I'm not even exaggerating. that's something really special for me, I only have two pairs of socks that I actually manage to keep together, the rest are all lost to the world of mismatched and odd socks are us.

I kinda actually wish I'd kept this outfit for a different day, maybe for doing something a little more exciting than just going for lunch with my mum and sister. so annoying that I am not an outfit repeater. no sireeee. I have two days a week I can get myself dressed in my own little style, my own clothes and I sure as hell amn't outfit repeating ok.
we went to this new place that's opened in the centre called ed's diner, and it's just like a 1950's style diner, they had a little jukebox on the table so you could pick your own tunes and obviously I had to have the beach boys on. when I grow up, I wanna be a beach boy.

I've spent pretty much half my day crying at emmerdale and wishing ross and pete would fight over me the way they're fighting over debbie whilst simultaneously wishing I looked just like her. does anyone even know what I'm talking about? am I showing you all how much of a granny I really am?

oooooh and did you guys see my new header??? omg, I'm so in love with it. a lovely girl drew it as a favor for me after she'd already drawn another lovely picture of me. I honestly couldn't believe it when she showed me. her insta is @lululolita and she is a beautiful little fluffy fairy girl.

NO SERIOUSLY DON'T FUCKING TOUCH ME.

some kids called me an emo the other day whilst I was wearing this outfit and I was like, duh tell me something I don't know.

I honestly don't think I've stopped these past few weeks, I'm blooming exhausted. definitely need a holiday or a sick line. I'd given up eyeliner completely over the weekend and today I didn't even bother with mascara either. my boss thought I was straight up ill and one of the guys at work said I looked like a panda who'd lost his eye circles. but in all honestly, I just looked like a little boy.

I've finally got a little time to myself and I'm curled up in my bed with my little dog watching buffy, willow and tara just got back together and I'm happy crying because yaaaaaay, my girls. spike and anya just got caught too and ew ew yuck stop it get back with xander and you get back with buffy and stop this. I fancy them both so much.

I got so many AMAZING clothes when I was in edinburgh last week, my boyfriend brought me some amazing presents and treated me while we were out too and I also spoiled myself a little bit, I spent money I definitely couldn't afford. but I can't wait to show you guys what I bought, I'll be outfit planning on my next day off when I finally have some time to myself yaaay.

HOLY FUCK I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M ACTUALLY POSTING THIS.
FINALLY.
my laptop had a wobbly and I've been trying to update my blog since thursday to absolutely no avail. I'm gonna go right ahead and jump past the post I had planned and instead, post a little photo diary of my lovely two nights spent in edinburgh with my boyfriend. it was our second anniversary a month ago (3/7/15) but due to work commitments and the fact we live 150 miles apart, we only just got around to seeing each other at the end of last week.

we stayed in a beautiful hotel called the howard, one of the top 25 hotels in the world.

before we went for dinner on thursday night to the hard rock cafe.

st andrews square has been all dressed up for the festival and it looks so beautiful.

they had little bars set up around the square.

the morning after our first night.

little misery guts after a long day of walking around and shopping.

this was a little polish shop that is shut down and the front stairwell has completely overgrown and it's the nicest thing I've ever seen, I want to live in it.

apologies for the messy hotel room, hopefully I'll actually get a chance to shoot these outfits properly outdoors soon.

we went to a thai restaurant called chaophraya and I have honestly never ate in such a beautiful restaurant and the food was actually to die for. it's in a glass box on castle street with beautiful views of the castle and city.
I always pick the best places to take him, I'm such a good girlfriend.

it ended up pishing it down with rain on the friday night as soon as we left the restaurant, the bottom of my dress was soaked, he was absolutely drenched too so we went back into jekyl and hyde's to hid.

HOLY WHITENESS ya'see that fucking walking cloud?
officially the whitest ghost on the planet.

I actually woke up in this outfit on sunday morning after a stupidly drunken night at the pub, don't worry I've cleaned it. I dressed lazily today to run errands but I wanted to blog this cute little one, even though I was banished to the woods this time, by the horrendous summer weather we're having.

this little skirt was part of a two piece but I can't remember where I bought it from. the tartan is black watch, something I learned from an older gentlemen at the pub the other night and I think it's so nice. I matched the carpet in the pub too.

my fringe is at the horrible stage where it won't sit properly at all, part of me wants to just leave it to grow out and the rest wants to cut it so short it'll take three years to reach my eyes again. I'm so very bored of this hair cut and style I never wanted in the first place. I haven't dyed it in over a year and it's still dark as night.
